Terms of Service

Rules for using irandiscord.com — directory listings, invite-based stats, and the optional IRAN DISCORD notification bot.

1. Overview

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of irandiscord.com (the "Website") and the IRAN DISCORD bot (the "Bot"), operated as part of the IRAN DISCORD project.

The Website is a Persian Discord community hub and public directory that helps users discover Iranian Discord servers across categories such as gaming, streaming, creators, and community servers. Server owners may request to be listed on the directory.

Directory member and approximate online counts are refreshed from valid Discord invite links. Adding the Bot is optional and is required only for live/upload notifications and dashboard features — not for basic directory listing.

2. Eligibility

By using the Website or adding the Bot to a Discord server, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by Discord in your region) and that you have authority to act on behalf of any server you submit or configure.

You must comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines at all times.

3. The IRAN DISCORD Bot

The Bot provides optional server features such as live/upload notifications and a web dashboard. When invited for those features, it requests only the Discord permissions needed to send notification messages (for example: view channels, send messages, embed links, manage webhooks, mention everyone where configured).

  • Does not read, store, or transmit message content, attachments, voice audio, or channel contents for directory purposes.
  • Does not assign roles, ban members, or perform moderation unless explicitly added as a future feature with clear notice.
  • May send automated notification messages to channels you configure in the dashboard.
  • Collects aggregate guild statistics for display on the Website (member totals, approximate online, and optional extended counts for the main community server).
  • May be removed from a server at any time by server administrators; directory listing can remain active while a valid invite link is provided.

The Bot is not required for directory listing statistics. Listing counts are obtained from public invite data on a scheduled basis.

4. Server Listings & Submissions

Server owners may submit listing requests through the Website. Submissions are reviewed before publication. We may approve, reject, edit placement, or remove listings at our discretion to maintain quality, accuracy, and compliance.

You represent that information you provide (server name, descriptions, invite links, images, and contact details) is accurate and that you have the right to use submitted media.

Approximate member and online counts on the directory depend on a valid, working Discord invite link and periodic refresh. Counts may be delayed, unavailable, or hidden when data is stale. Invalid invites may trigger automatic deactivation until the invite is fixed.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or impersonating server listings.
  • Attempt to disrupt the Website, Bot, APIs, or underlying infrastructure.
  • Scrape or overload public endpoints beyond normal browsing.
  • Use the Website or Bot for spam, harassment, or unlawful activity.
  • Misrepresent affiliation with IRAN DISCORD or irandiscord.com.

6. Disclaimers

The Website and Bot are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy of statistics, uninterrupted availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

IRAN DISCORD is an independent directory project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord Inc.

Server listings link to third-party Discord communities. We are not responsible for content, rules, or conduct within listed servers.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, IRAN DISCORD and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Website or Bot, including loss of data, revenue, or goodwill.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the Website or Bot after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
